John Cleese criticized the global silence after Easter attacks in Nigeria that reportedly killed at least 26 people, saying it shows the world has failed to live up to the slogan “Black lives matter.” He wrote that it seems “Black Lives Don’t Matter” when Christians are murdered and ignored.
Cleese was responding to comments from Leo Terrell, who asked why the world was not talking about the massacre of Christians by Islamist terrorists. Cleese argued media silence is politically motivated and protects the image of the attackers.
