Six-time Olympic medalist Kaillie Humphries is speaking out in support of protecting women’s sports, backing policies that would restrict women’s competition to biological females.
The decorated U.S. bobsledder, who plans to serve on the White House Task Force for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, supports mandatory genetic sex testing to preserve the integrity of the women’s category. Humphries argues that significant biological differences in strength, speed, and power make fair competition impossible if male athletes compete in women’s events.
Drawing from her own experience competing in mixed events, she said women have “no chance” against elite male athletes and warned that failing to protect female divisions could ultimately cause women’s sports to “disappear.”
