Kid Rock shared a Gospel message during Turning Point USA’s 40-minute “All-American Halftime Show,” streamed as an alternative to the Super Bowl halftime performance by Bad Bunny.
Rock closed the event with a faith-centered version of “Til’ You Can’t,” originally by Cody Johnson, adding a new verse about returning to the Bible and surrendering to Jesus. He said the lyrics came to him during a quiet Sunday morning and included the line:
“There’s a book that’s sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off / There’s a man that died for all our sins hanging from the cross / You can give your life to Jesus and he’ll give you a second chance / ‘Til you can’t, ’til you can’t.”
The broadcast drew over 20 million live viewers on YouTube and featured performances from Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett, and Lee Brice. The show also honored the late Charlie Kirk.
Afterward, Erika Kirk praised the event, saying the goal was to “make Heaven crowded” and adding, “It’s okay to love Jesus and your country.”
