At a Turning Point USA event, Karoline Leavitt emphasized that her strength in handling intense media pressure comes from faith.
She said plainly, “through prayer and faith… it’s the only way,” explaining that faith gives her perspective—reminding her that even “the worst news cycle is just a moment… this too shall pass.”
Leavitt revealed that her team prays before every press briefing, calling it “a crucial step” before walking into “the lion’s den,” where journalists often try to challenge her. Despite the pressure, she admitted the job can feel overwhelming at times, but added, “without faith, you couldn’t do it.”
She also shared that prayer is becoming part of the broader culture in the administration, pointing to moments where leaders pause to seek “protection… and wisdom,” and highlighting her team’s weekly Bible study as a way to stay grounded before demanding days.
