Mike Macdonald is a Super Bowl champion in just his second year as Seahawks head coach — and he made it clear who he gives the credit to.
After Seattle’s 29–13 win over the Patriots, powered by a dominant defense with six sacks and multiple turnovers, Macdonald said, “I believe God called me to be a coach and I listened to Him and I thank Him.” He added, “Now, we’re world champions.”
The Seahawks finished 14–3, led the league in points allowed, and capped it off with their first Super Bowl title since 2013 — with their coach openly giving glory to God on the biggest stage.
