“God is good. Our girl is CANCER FREE.”
That was the emotional update Ashlyn Brooke Keith shared after months of praying through her daughter Marlee Kate’s battle with a rare brain tumor known as an ependymoma.
Earlier this year, Marlee underwent surgery and weeks of proton radiation treatments after doctors discovered the cancerous tumor. Through every step of the journey, the family continued asking people to pray and trust God in the middle of uncertainty.
Before her latest scans, Ashlyn shared that Marlee herself had been praying and believing God for healing.
Now, the family is praising God after receiving the news they had been hoping for — Marlee is cancer free.
