In a recent podcast, commentator Matt Walsh defends Erika Kirk and calls for people — including Candace — to “please leave this woman alone.”
He says Erika has shown “an immense amount of strength and courage,” and while some say she’s “acting strange,” Walsh argues she’s actually “an exceptional person in an extraordinary situation,” handling it with “remarkable poise and dignity.” He calls that “a virtue.”
Even beyond that, he says she is “a grieving widow” and “my friend’s wife,” and he feels “duty-bound to support her.” While people may “have the right” to question, he says Christians have a “moral obligation… to be charitable and kind towards suffering widows.”
Walsh warns that three months after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, “the leftists who want us dead are more emboldened than ever.” His message: return “to the facts, to the truth,” and don’t let the mission Charlie “lived for and died for” die with him.
