According to Grammy-winning producer Rodney Jerkins, Michael Jackson made the most important decision of his life just two weeks before he died: he prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Speaking about Jackson’s final days, Jerkins said those close to the singer told him, “Michael received Christ two weeks ago. He had us pray. He did the Sinner’s Prayer.”
For Jerkins, this was far more significant than Michael Jackson’s worldwide fame, record-breaking success, or countless awards.
“The ultimate reward,” he said, was knowing that Jackson turned to Jesus.
