Al Mohler is blasting Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear after the governor went on “The View” and said his Christian faith — especially the Golden Rule and the Good Samaritan — led him to veto legislation restricting transgender procedures for minors.
Beshear said, “My faith teaches me that all children are children of God,” and argued he was simply loving his neighbor.
Mohler wasn’t impressed. He called the remarks “absolutely ridiculous” and said they rank “at the top of stupid.” He argued Beshear represents a growing “theological liberalism” that he says has become a “rival religion” to historic, biblical Christianity — one that “cut the Bible down to size” and skips over foundational teachings.
