DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin leaned on his Christian faith as he encouraged ICE agents facing public criticism, quoting Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Speaking directly to the agents, Mullin said, “If any agency needs to hear that, it’s ICE,” adding that no matter what the media says, he believes they are doing their job faithfully.
“I take it with tremendous pride,” he said, “and I’m willing to stand beside you and stand in front of you and defend you every single day.”
