Pastor Greg Locke shared the heartbreaking news that his 20-year-old son, Evan Roberts Locke, died after a drug overdose. In the middle of overwhelming grief, Locke pointed clearly to his faith in Christ, saying that although words fail the family, the grace of Jesus will sustain them through this devastating loss.
He acknowledged that Evan’s struggle with addiction had been painfully public, yet even in this sorrow, his message remained rooted in faith, dependence on God, and the hope that Christ is near in brokenness.
Christian leaders, including Sean Feucht, have also surrounded the family with prayer and support, as believers continue lifting them up during this deeply painful time.
