Pastor Tammy McCollum, 58, was shot and killed inside her North Carolina home early Monday, and her husband has been charged with first-degree murder.
Those who knew her remember her as “kind, vibrant, and caring,” with a “beautiful smile and bright spirit,” and a deep love for “God, her family, and her church family.”
As the community grieves, some have called the tragedy a “cruel, evil world” moment, even a “satanic act”.
