Millicent Sedra, pastor of Echo Church, says one of the most practical ways to ‘fight America becoming Islamized’ is surprisingly simple: “If you can, have more babies.”
She points out that while Christianity remains the largest religion in the world, Islam is the fastest growing, largely because of higher birth rates.
Sedra argues that America’s declining birth rate is tied to modern cultural pressures, saying many young women are told, “I’m an entrepreneur, I’m not gonna have any babies,” or to limit family size.
She also links the decline to abortion, gender ideology, and the breakdown of biblical views on marriage and family, noting bluntly that “Adam and Steve… cannot have babies.”
For those who feel they’re past childbearing age, Sedra says they still have a role to play. Citing Titus 2, she reminds older women that Scripture calls them to teach younger women to love their children.
That mentorship, she says, is what’s missing today. “Children are not a burden,” Sedra insists. “Children are a blessing. Have more babies.”
