Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton says he is reading the Bible “from start to finish” for the first time after a life-changing health crisis that led to a near-death experience.
He shared that during his hospital stay, “God … saved me,” describing it as something he can only call “a miracle.” Hilton said the encounter transformed his belief, explaining, “I no longer need to have faith… I know that God is real and that God loves me.”
After surviving sepsis and later discovering another serious condition, he believes it was “divine intervention,” adding that “God… destroyed me… to build me back up stronger.”
Now deeply moved by Scripture, Hilton said he feels “shocked and overwhelmed in beautiful and wondrous ways,” and plans to share his Bible-reading journey publicly, even if it surprises his audience.
