Franklin Graham is calling on Christians around the world to pray for Pastor Clive Johnston, a 78-year-old retired pastor in Northern Ireland who was convicted and fined for preaching John 3:16 near a hospital where abortions are performed.
Graham noted that Johnston “didn’t even mention abortion; he just preached the Gospel in a public space.” His legal team at The Christian Institute
plans to appeal.
Graham warned that religious freedom is under growing pressure in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and other nations.
“There is an anti-Christ spirit that is prevailing in our world today,” Graham said. “It’s as though every demon in Hell has been unleashed.”
He urged believers to pray for Pastor Johnston, his legal team, and for the protection of religious liberty worldwide.
