A restaurant patron in Iowa paused President Donald Trump for an unscripted moment of prayer ahead of his speech in Des Moines.
A video shows the man asking, “Can I pray for you real quick?” Trump agreed, bowing his head as the patron prayed:
“Lord we give you thanks for this president, Lord. Thank you for your hand of protection [on him]…Pray for continued wisdom. Pray for discernment. I pray for health. I pray for more peace, Lord.”
“And I just pray for protection against the world, the devils, the flesh, and all principalities, Lord. Thanks for the Spirit. In your name we pray, Jesus, Amen.”
Other diners joined in with “Amen” and “Praise God,” creating a powerful public moment of faith and unity. ❤
