Franklin Graham is inviting Christians across America to gather in Washington, D.C., for Rededicate 250 on May 17 at the National Mall.
Calling it “a very special event,” Graham described the gathering as “a day of praise and prayer, thanksgiving,” tied to America’s 250th anniversary. He said Donald Trump personally called for the event and is fully supporting it. “The White House is working feverishly to make this happen,” Graham said.
Graham emphasized the historic nature of the event, declaring, “No president in history that I know of has called for a day of rededication and prayer.” He encouraged believers to come early, bring lawn chairs, and prepare for what he called “an incredible moment.”
“This will probably never happen again,” Graham said. “Come on and join us.”
