Franklin Graham is inviting Christians across America to gather in Washington, D.C., for Rededicate 250, a national event tied to the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.
The event will take place on May 17 on the National Mall. Graham described it as “a national jubilee of prayer, praise, thanksgiving,” and urged believers to “write that date down.”
He said the purpose is to “rededicate our country, our nation, as one nation under God.” The gathering will include speakers, music, prayer and worship, and Graham encouraged people to bring their family and friends.
Graham also thanked President Trump for recognizing “the importance of turning our nation to God,” saying Christians should come to Washington to “take a stand for the Lord Jesus Christ.”
