Remembering Renee Good: Grief and Faith Reflections

In an interview, Renee Good’s former father-in-law shared memories of the woman he knew as family.

He met Renee years ago when she married his son and remembered her as outgoing, gentle, and patient — qualities that deeply impressed him.

But what weighs on his heart most is not only her death, but her spiritual state at the time.

“Biblically, she wasn’t ready to meet the Lord. That hurts me more than anything because I love her. And she’s a great person,” he said.

He said he has seen the video and acknowledged that ‘the car did hit him’. Reflecting on how quickly everything unfolded and how people react in the heat of the moment, he added, “It’s just sad.”
