Remembering Ticaria “Tiki” Lampert

The grieving mother of 12-year-old Ticaria “Tiki” Lampert is remembering her daughter as a “strong voice that was silenced” in this week’s tragic school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.

Overcome with emotion, Sarah Lampert described her daughter as fearless, outspoken, and full of joy — someone who carried a “Santa’s sack of every bad dad joke you could think of” and simply “wanted to bring her sunshine to everyone.” Tiki leaves behind seven siblings, and her mother said she was “in no hurry to grow up,” calling her “my forever baby.”

“Our family is shattered,” Lampert said. “To accept that my daughter is gone is impossible.”

Authorities have identified eight victims in the shooting, most between the ages of 11 and 13. A GoFundMe has been launched to support the family.

Pray for Ticaria’s family… ❤
