Report: Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei Killed in Tehran Strike

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reportedly died after a joint U.S.–Israeli strike that hit his Tehran compound, according to senior Israeli and U.S. sources.

Khamenei led the Islamic Republic for more than three decades and was known for harsh domestic repression and confrontation with the United States and Israel.

Israeli officials say his compound was reduced to rubble and that his body has been found.
