Reza Safa, a former Shi’ite Muslim, said Iran’s regime seeks “the destruction of Israel and America,” once calling them “the little Satan” and “the great Satan.”
He returned to Iran during the Iranian Revolution but witnessed “confusion and chaos,” prompting him to leave again. In Sweden, he met Christian missionaries who “gave me a Bible in Persian,” leading him to study Scripture deeply.
Safa recalled a powerful spiritual moment: “I heard the voice of God for the first time…‘Reza, you don’t need to pray like this anymore, pray to me,’” an experience that led to his conversion.
Safa later became a pastor and launched a Persian-language Christian TV ministry reaching Iran and the Middle East. Now he says it is “a very critical time” and calls for efforts to “topple this regime” to bring freedom.
