In his Easter message, Marco Rubio emphasized that humanity was “created…by the hands of the God of the Universe” for eternal fellowship with Him, but that sin “separated us from our Creator.”
He explained the heart of the Gospel—how God “took on the form of a man,” suffered, and died, yet “on the third day He rose, unlike any mortal man.” Rubio highlighted the physical reality of the resurrection, noting that Jesus “didn’t rise as a ghost… but as flesh,” even eating with His disciples and showing His wounds.
Looking forward, he pointed to the promise that Christ “will return,” bringing redemption and restoration. Because “He carried that cross,” believers are now free from sin, and one day there will be “a new heaven and a new earth,” where all will be reunited in a “great reunion.”
