Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ children made a surprising archaeological find while visiting Israel during the Christmas holiday.
While touring caves in the Binyamin region, the children discovered 2,000-year-old coins, possibly dating to the Bar Kokhba Revolt or the Roman period. The find was first reported by the Yesha Council.
Sanders later called the experience unforgettable, saying it was a powerful reminder that the Holy Land is not only central to history, but foundational to both the Christian and Jewish faiths.
