As America prepares for its 250th anniversary, America Reads the Bible will host a seven-day public Scripture reading at the Museum of the Bible from April 18–25, 2026.
About 500 celebrities, ministry leaders, and elected officials will participate, with livestream coverage by Great American Pure Flix.
Opening participants include Patricia Heaton and Candace Cameron Bure, with readers such as Greg Abbott, Franklin Graham, and others.
Founded by Bunni Pounds of Christians Engaged, the event aims to unite Americans in reading God’s Word and encourage civic and spiritual renewal ahead of the historic milestone.
