Spencer Pratt, a leading candidate in the Los Angeles mayoral race, says his Christian faith has grown significantly through the influence of his wife, Heidi, whom he credits with bringing him closer to Jesus. Pratt shared that Heidi often reminds him to trust God’s will, telling him, “If this is God’s plan, then it will be.”
As he campaigns to become Los Angeles’ first Republican mayor in more than 25 years, Pratt said prayer has become central to his journey. He explained that he regularly asks God to guide him, praying, “God, if you want me to save these animals, save these humans and protect my city, just keep putting me in a place where I can do that.”
Pratt also revealed he prayed before a recent gubernatorial debate, asking God for strength to expose what he sees as corruption and dishonesty. While acknowledging the challenges ahead, he said he trusts that “if it’s not God’s plan, it won’t happen.”
