A Russian strike hit a Baptist church in Zaporizhzhia during a prayer meeting, killing minister Ruslan Utyuzh and injuring at least eight others.
Christian groups say the attack reflects a wider pattern, with hundreds of churches reportedly damaged or destroyed since the war began.
Despite the violence, believers continue gathering in faith. After another church attack last year in Kyiv, services went on the next morning and 200 people came forward for baptism.
