THANK GOD: President Trump said Sunday that a second U.S. pilot has been rescued in Iran after an F-15E was shot down, calling it a “miraculous” operation.
He revealed another pilot had already been rescued a day earlier but wasn’t announced to avoid “jeopardiz[ing]” the second mission. Trump said it’s the first time two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately deep in enemy territory.
Praising the military, he said the missions show “overwhelming Air Dominance,” adding, “We will never leave an American warfighter behind.”
