Tim Allen’s Faith Journey Through Apostle Paul

Actor and comedian Tim Allen says his growing interest in faith has led him deep into the writings of Apostle Paul, especially Paul’s teaching that the law exposes human sin.

Speaking on Club Random with Bill Maher, Allen said Paul’s ideas have challenged how he understands morality and human nature. “Without law, you don’t know what sinful is,” Allen said, adding that philosophy alone left him unsatisfied after years of study.

Allen also recalled visiting Jerusalem and being struck by the historical reality of Jesus, and he described Paul’s dramatic conversion from persecutor of Christians to devoted follower of Christ.

The 72-year-old actor said he is “still studying” Paul’s teachings and has been deeply moved by reading both the Old and New Testaments as part of his ongoing faith journey.
