Tim Tebow announced Friday that his father, Bob Tebow, has passed away at 78.
“Heaven ushered in a hero of the faith,” Tebow wrote. “He’s not lost… He’s home. Forever!” He also shared that when asked what he most looked forward to in Heaven, his father answered, “Jesus.”
Tebow said his dad is now “healed and whole,” adding, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
Bob Tebow was known for missionary work in the Philippines and is survived by his wife, five children, and eight grandchildren.
