Texas evangelist Todd White released a video apologizing that “people have been hurt” through his leadership, weeks after apologist Mike Winger offered up to $100,000 for an independent investigation into his ministry.
White, founder of Lifestyle Christianity, said some individuals felt “hurt or unseen…or distanced from God” and took responsibility for confusion, pressure, and pain caused during the rapid growth of his church and ministry.
He admitted moving forward “with zeal without wisdom,” saying unclear expectations and lack of support led to strain.
White emphasized repentance, accountability, and his continued commitment to evangelism, citing Acts 20:24 about finishing the work Christ assigned to him.
