Vance Calls America Back to Prayer and Faith

VP Vance delivered an inspiring message at Rededicate 250, reminding Americans that from George Washington to Abraham Lincoln, the nation has long been shaped by prayer, gratitude, and dependence on God.

Quoting Washington, Vance said it is the duty of nations “to acknowledge the providence of almighty God,” and he emphasized that America has “always been and still are a nation of prayer.”

He also warned that faith is not optional to America’s future. Citing John Adams, he said the Constitution was made “only for a moral and religious people,” adding that America’s moral foundation was “decidedly Christian, founded upon the principles and the divinity of Jesus Christ.”

Vance asked Americans to pray for their leaders — especially for “wisdom” to know God’s path and “courage” to walk it.
