Will Anderson Jr. Gives Glory to God After Record Texans Extension

Houston Texans star Will Anderson Jr. publicly gave glory to God after signing a massive three-year, $150 million extension, opening his press conference with “Thank you, Jesus” and saying, “Without you, I am nothing.” Wearing a cross around his neck, Anderson repeatedly said his success came from Christ, not himself.

The 24-year-old told young people to reject the world’s labels and embrace God’s calling: “You are called. You are chosen. You are ordained.” He said his journey has “never ever been about the money,” but about walking in the purpose God gave him.

Anderson also praised DeMeco Ryans for being grounded in faith and influencing the locker room. He shared how visiting a prison through God Behind Bars deeply moved him after seeing inmates cling to Jesus despite life sentences and separation from family.
