Zach Galifianakis Warns AI Feels Like “Biting the Apple Again”

Zach Galifianakis says the rapid rise of artificial intelligence feels like humanity is “biting the apple again.”

The The Hangover star made the comment on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, where he reflected on God, creation, and the dangers of unchecked technology.

Although he identifies as agnostic, Galifianakis asked, “If there’s a God that made all this stuff, why not respect it?”

Speaking about AI, he said, “This is where humans are going with AI … it’s another, like, biblical, in the biblical term of ‘biting the apple’ again. I just am very afraid of it.”

He acknowledged AI can be helpful in medicine, but warned that humanity may be pursuing knowledge and power without wisdom.
